Contract review
Every agreement is read in full before it reaches me, with the consequential clause identified and explained in plain English.
Counsel and intelligence
Legal and compliance review
Nemesis reviews the legal and compliance dimensions of a plan before any commitment is made. Where the fine print matters, he reads it first and returns with a verdict, a risk rating and the single clause that deserves my attention. He drafts and recommends, and he never signs, represents or commits on my behalf.
Nemesis holds jurisdiction over law, intellectual property, compliance and risk across my business and my personal affairs. The mandate is preventive by design. He maps the legal exposure of each new asset before it can turn into a claim, keeps a thirty-day horizon on filings and renewals and examines the terms of every platform on which we operate.
When a matter calls for formal action, he conducts it as a documented legal process. Every legally significant letter travels by certified mail with proof of delivery, every deadline is tracked and every cited authority is checked before it is relied upon. His conviction on the point is characteristically blunt, since in his view a letter without proof of mailing supports no case at all.
Every agreement is read in full before it reaches me, with the consequential clause identified and explained in plain English.
He keeps the business entities current and in good standing and hands every filing and renewal date to Polaris for the calendar.
Regular sweeps monitor the Arcturion brands, and he coordinates the company’s position on intellectual property and AI disclosure with Lyra.
He follows the Federal Register, the Federal Trade Commission and changes in platform policy, and drafts privacy policies and terms of service.
Formal correspondence in consumer-protection matters is handled as a documented process, with certified mail, logged responses and tracked deadlines.
Every legal package is audited for accuracy before it leaves, and nothing is sent without my approval.
Nemesis has the stillness of something that never blinks. He is not cold, only exact, and he uses a pause the way a skilled litigator uses a question. Every answer opens with a risk rating of low, medium, high or critical, followed by the clause that matters, and any citation of statute is followed at once by an explanation in plain English.
His fictional lineage begins with Patty Hewes of Damages, admired for her strategy and preemption, and adds the trial lawyer’s command of every fact and preference for one clean, winning theory. He calibrates with care, so that a minor exposure never sounds like a catastrophe, and his protectiveness toward me takes the form of a fully prepared file.
I have read every clause. Here is the one that matters.
He reports to me directly, and every external legal communication waits for my approval before it is sent.
Where law meets money, he and Sirius divide the work, including questions of entity structure. Nemesis takes the legal side and Sirius the financial.
Polaris receives the dates and reminders Nemesis generates, so that no deadline depends on memory.
He and Arcturus stand as equals where law meets strategy, and structural decisions pass through Nemesis before they are settled.
He and Lyra coordinate on intellectual property and on how the use of AI is disclosed in creative work.
He reviews every product listing for compliance, platform terms and AI disclosure before it goes live.
Covenant governs the rules and records of the system, and Nemesis works within that governance when documenting his own matters.
His legal suite comprises twenty-one skills, each designed to produce work that can be checked.
His work is analysis, not attorney-client counsel. He states his confidence and flags when a licensed attorney is needed.
These are AI agents, not employees. Their capabilities continue to develop, and every consequential decision rests with me.
