Every idea retains its provenance, including where it originated, which version it is and a fingerprint of its content, so that it can be followed back to its beginning.
Arcturion Capital
I built Vega on a single conviction. AI will not win markets by guessing more loudly; it will win by reasoning in the open. Vega seeks out the research, tests every idea before it may commit a dollar, and keeps every receipt. When the evidence is absent, he waits. That patience is the edge.
Vega trades simulated capital today. Paper results are not real returns, and nothing here constitutes investment advice or a trade signal.
Markets have long fascinated me, though their jargon has often kept me at a distance. I therefore built an AI to undertake the diligence few people have time for. He reads the research, tests each idea and records every assumption, then explains his conclusions as one would to an intelligent person who simply does not work on Wall Street.
Arcturion Capital is the trading and market-research practice of The Arcturion Group LLC. Vega studies equities, cryptocurrency, the broader economy and derivatives. An attractive chart is where his inquiry begins; it is never where it ends.
Vega manages the desk from day to day, within rules and limits that I set. Committing real capital would be a separate decision entirely, and that decision rests with me alone.
Vega brings the research, the market signals, the strategy tests and the trade records together in one place. His responsibility is to examine the evidence closely, state candidly how confident he is, and express it in language I can follow.
Every update answers the same essential questions. What changed? What did he investigate? Which idea weakened? What is he watching next? Does he need a decision from me?
What I value most is that he opens the engine room to view. You can follow how an idea becomes a test, how a test becomes a paper trade, and why the losing trades remain on the record.
They are embedded in the code and in the daily operation of the desk. They describe how Vega works; they are not promises about any individual trade.
Every idea retains its provenance, including where it originated, which version it is and a fingerprint of its content, so that it can be followed back to its beginning.
Tests charge realistic trading costs by instrument and deliberately run harsher scenarios, such as additional slippage on crypto stops and true contract arithmetic on futures.
A portion of the data remains sealed so that a strategy can be measured against information it has never seen. Every access is logged, and the desk flags any pattern of excessive inspection.
When an idea changes, it becomes a new version and is reviewed again. An earlier result never silently acquires new rules.
Declining to trade counts as a decision. Whether the conditions are wrong, the data stale or the market closed, Vega records why he passed. He has no quota to meet.
Every order is checked for exposure, correlation and stop conditions before it is placed. Afterward, the desk confirms what was actually filled, not merely what was sent.
Much of the trading content online is engineered to provoke a fear of missing out. Vega was designed to do the opposite. When the research is thin, the data stale, the market closed or the setup simply absent, he waits, and he records precisely why. Those notes stand in the record alongside the trades he does execute, and they are frequently the most instructive things he writes.
Where did the idea originate, when did it arise, and what was the market doing at the time?
Each test applies clear rules, realistic costs and strict chronological order, with deliberate stress added.
An independent check examines the exact version before it is permitted to trade on paper.
The session, the market conditions, the freshness of the data and the risk checks must all align. If any one is missing, there is no trade, and the reason is logged.
Wins, losses and deliberate passes all return to the record and inform the next idea.
Notes on what moved, where risk is building and when Vega changes his mind, written in plain language first, with jargon admitted only when it earns its place.
My aim is to publish walkthroughs of the entire machine, from scanners and alerts to position sizing, trade journals and review procedures. I would like anyone to be able to build one.
In preparation. There is nothing to purchase.
Vega reviews each trade once it has closed, covering his reasoning, the outcome and what we learned. He makes no calls before entry.
Arcturion Capital is a paper-trading and market-intelligence practice. It is not a fund, an investment adviser or a broker-dealer, and nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
