Interests and ventures
Everything I study, and everything I have built.
My curiosity has never kept to a single field. Nearly every free moment I have goes to reading, taking notes, training alongside my agents and pursuing personal projects, and that habit reaches well beyond technology. This page gathers the ventures I have founded, past and present, together with the subjects that hold my attention and shape how I design and build.
Ventures
The Arcturion Group
My company, and the home of most of what follows. Arcturion rests on a simple premise, that one person working in disciplined partnership with a team of AI agents can operate with the reach of a far larger organization.
Return to the overviewThe Arcturion Universe
The private operating system on which the company runs. Each agent holds a defined mandate and draws on a shared memory, while ATLAS, my second brain, keeps the knowledge they depend upon in order.
Read the case studyArcturion Technologies
My workshop for tools that began as problems within my own system. Whenever a solution might serve someone else, it is published openly on GitHub.
Explore the toolsArcturion Capital
The trading and market-research practice of the company, directed day to day by Vega, our AI trader. He trades simulated capital only, and a plain-English education in how a trading desk truly operates is in preparation.
Meet VegaArcturion Finance
An accounting application that explains every figure it produces, informed by the seven years I spent keeping my own salon’s books.
Inspect the demonstrationDark Ascendant
An esoteric astrology practice devoted to the candid reading of the natal chart, with particular attention to Black Moon Lilith. Personal readings come first; a dedicated astrology application is the longer ambition.
Konexion Salon
The boutique salon I owned in Plymouth, Massachusetts, a studio of three chairs and a treatment room. I served clients behind the chair every day while keeping the books and directing the marketing and the entire client experience.
Read the career historyThe Robert Lingoes Hair
An independent styling practice in which I managed every booking, every client communication and every service from beginning to end.
The craft of hair
Hair remains a discipline I practice and study. I work today as a Master Stylist at Fringe Hair Salon in Rockland, and continuing education in technique and the science of product has never stopped.
Interests
Artificial intelligence
The subject that now claims most of my free hours. I study how agents should be organized, how knowledge ought to be structured for them, and how their work can be measured honestly, and I learn chiefly by building.

- Knowledge systems
- Automation
- Evaluating AI output
- Software architecture
Astrology and the esoteric
My interest in the esoteric is long-standing; one of my earliest positions, from 2002 to 2005, was at a metaphysical shop. I regard these traditions as serious bodies of knowledge and study them with the same care I bring to anything else.

My working life began in fashion retail, and the avant-garde has held my attention ever since. I am drawn to designers who treat clothing as an argument rather than an ornament.

- Balenciaga
- Alexander McQueen
- John Galliano
- Robert Wun
- Stüssy

Art, photography and design
I am drawn to the unusual and the uncompromising, to artists whose work could belong to no one else. Years of working with shape, balance and color have made design a discipline I practice daily, this site included.
- H. R. Giger
- Patrick Nagel
- Paolo Roversi
- Ellen von Unwerth
- Brutalist architecture

Markets and economics
Markets have long fascinated me. Building Vega has become my way of studying them rigorously, from research and testing to the discipline of declining a trade.
- Equities
- Cryptocurrency
- The broader economy

Gardening and living things
A garden rewards patience and observation in the way good systems do. I tend old garden roses and a Japanese-inspired shade garden, and keep aquariums and reptiles.

I am entirely self-taught in technology, and I intend to remain a student of all of these subjects for the rest of my life.
